Government Medical College Surat

MEDICAL EDUCATION UNIT :     

           Government medical college Surat has established a Medical Education Unit as per guidelines & norms set up by MCI.

The objectives of the Medical Education Unit are as follows:-

·  To create awareness amongst the teachers regarding the principles of medical education technology.

·  To initiate teachers to evolve educational strategies so that the lacunae existing in the present system could be minimized.

·  To disseminate knowledge and allow diffusion of activities to other institutes.

·  To target both teachers and students, as they are the most important constituents of the educational process.

·  Promote educational research

MEMBERS OF THE ME UNIT.

The unit comprises of medical teachers from Preclinical, Paraclinical and Clinical departments who are like-minded, willing to devote time and energy for medical education.

MEU holds meetings off & on and invites speakers from different fields for the promotion of different educational activities & development of faculties.
